Addressing tips for the Philippines
- Philippines postcodes have four digits and appear before the locality, Metro Manila area or province name.[1]
- For Manila addresses, the UPU examples show the postcode followed by MANILA, such as 1008 MANILA.[1]
- For addresses outside Manila, barangay, city or municipality details may appear above the postcode and province line.[1]
- Barangay is identified by the UPU sheet as a Philippine administrative unit; keep it when the recipient includes it.[1]

Questions about sending mail to the Philippines
- How long does mail to the Philippines take?
- We estimate 10โ18 business days after mailing. It is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date, and the count starts on the day we mail your letter, not the day you order.
- Can I send a letter to the Philippines from another country?
- Yes. You order online from wherever you are, and we print and mail the letter for you, so you don't need stamps or a trip to the post office. Once your order is assigned, its page shows the country it was mailed from.
- Can I add a return receipt to a letter to the Philippines?
- Yes. Choose Registered letter and add the return receipt. The recipient signs on delivery and the signed receipt is posted back to the sender address on your letter. A sender address is required.
- Can I track a letter to the Philippines?
- Yes, with a tracked or registered letter. Tracking updates depend on the postal networks along the way, so they may not cover every step. Your order page shows the updates we receive.
- Do I need to enter a state or province for the Philippines?
- Yes, the address form asks for it and we print it as part of the address. Pick the address from the suggestions to fill it in automatically.
- Where does the Philippines postcode go?
- To the left of the locality or province name, for example 1008 MANILA or 2000 PAMPANGA.[1]
- Should I include a barangay?
- Yes when the recipient provides it. The UPU examples include barangay, subdivision, city or municipality details above the postcode line.[1]
- Where should I put barangay or subdivision details in MaisonMail?
- Use the second address line so those details print between the street line and the postcode line.
